has been a very difficult time for both my husband and I since the theft
of our Hyacinth Macaws on March 8, 2002 from our Illinois home and we
want to take a minute to thank everyone who has been so very helpful in
our search. We could never have imagined that so many people would offer
to help as much as so many of you have. Your endless emails, letters, and
phone calls have been wonderful, and, at times, have given us the strength
to continue with our search.

The truck driver who puts fliers up at truck stops across the country. To those
who managed to get our story in your local newspapers, I don’t know how you
did it, but thank you. To the many people who have passed out and continue to
pass out the fliers at bird shows. To those who helped with weekly mailings and
keeping the internet updated. To those who added our information to your
website(s) and bird lists.
